Teacher Allowance Program

The Golden Hills PTO recognizes that education in the classroom is more than just having the right books and lesson plan materials. We acknowledge the importance of ensuring the teachers also have the extra resources they need to excite, connect with, encourage, and involve the students in their lessons and create a classroom community. For this purpose, the PTO has proudly included an allowance for each teacher in our budget since 2016 to supplement the school's limited budget and offset teacher's personal funds used in the classroom.

For the 2022-2023 school year an allowance has not yet been approved.

The Teacher Allowance Program is open to all Golden Hills Elementary School teachers and staff who directly contribute to the education and development of the students. The allowance amount is per teacher or staff supporting enrollment programs offered by the school (in-person, virtual, and TILA.) To receive a reimbursement, please email us at tehghpto@gmail.com We will need a receipt or invoice, a brief description of how the item is used, and an address for payment. The allowance can reimburse expenses acquired over the entire school year.
